This website is operated by ABY Jewellery. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ABY Jewellery.

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, placing an order, purchasing a product, engaging our bespoke services, or participating in any ABY Jewellery programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Rewards Club Terms, and any other policies referenced on our website.

These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, customers, and users of our website and services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order with us. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

We may update or amend these Terms from time to time by posting the latest version on our website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes have been posted will be taken as acceptance of the updated Terms.

Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services to you.

1. Website Use and Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you, or that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian where required.

You agree not to use our website, products, services, content, images, or designs for any unlawful, unauthorised, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

You must not upload, transmit, or introduce any viruses, malicious code, harmful software, or disruptive technology to our website.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, restrict access, or terminate use of our website where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, misuse, unauthorised resale, abusive behaviour, or unlawful conduct.

2. Our Products and Services

ABY Jewellery specialises in fine jewellery, bespoke jewellery, custom engagement rings, wedding bands, gemstone jewellery, and meaningful pieces crafted for personal milestones.

Certain products may be available exclusively online, through private appointments, at pop-ups, or through selected ABY sales channels.

All product descriptions, images, prices, availability, and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. However, jewellery is naturally detailed and often handcrafted, and slight variations may occur.

We reserve the right to update, discontinue, limit, or modify any product or service at any time without prior notice.

3. Handcrafted Jewellery and Natural Materials

Each ABY Jewellery piece is crafted with care and attention to detail. As many of our pieces are handcrafted, slight variations in finish, texture, form, setting, or proportion may occur.

Natural gemstones may contain inclusions, colour zoning, surface characteristics, or slight variations in tone, clarity, and shape. These are part of the character of natural gemstones and are not considered defects.

The appearance of gemstones and metals may also vary depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and display differences.

4. Bespoke, Made-to-Order and Customised Jewellery

Bespoke, made-to-order, personalised, engraved, resized, customised, or specially sourced pieces are created specifically for each client.

Once the design, quotation, gemstone, size, or production details have been confirmed, the order is considered final and may not be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded, except where required by applicable law or where the item is assessed by ABY Jewellery to have a manufacturing defect.

Any request to make changes after confirmation will be subject to our approval, production stage, design limitations, additional costs, and revised timelines.

5. Design Fees, Deposits and Payment

A design fee or deposit may be required before we begin design work, gemstone sourcing, production, reservation of materials, or appointment-based bespoke services.

Design fees and deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, including design exploration, consultation preparation, gemstone sourcing, stone reservation, CAD work, sketching, production planning, or manufacturing.

Where expressly stated, a design fee may be offset against the final purchase amount if the client proceeds with the piece.

Full payment must be completed before collection, delivery, or release of any jewellery.

ABY Jewellery reserves the right to pause or withhold work, delivery, or collection until payment has been completed.

6. Gemstone Sourcing

ABY Jewellery may assist with gemstone sourcing for bespoke jewellery, engagement rings, wedding bands, and other fine jewellery pieces.

Gemstone availability, price, colour, size, origin, quality, and specifications may change until a stone has been reserved or confirmed.

Any gemstone options presented to clients are subject to availability and may be sold or withdrawn by suppliers before confirmation.

Once a gemstone has been confirmed, reserved, or purchased specifically for a client, cancellation or changes may not be possible.

7. Client-Supplied Gemstones and Materials

If you provide your own gemstone, diamond, jewellery, or material for redesign or setting, ABY Jewellery will take reasonable care during assessment, handling, and production.

However, older, fragile, treated, previously set, inherited, or client-supplied stones and materials may carry inherent risks. These may include hidden fractures, structural weakness, past damage, treatment sensitivity, or instability during removal, resetting, polishing, cleaning, or manufacturing.

We will advise where possible, but ABY Jewellery is not responsible for pre-existing weaknesses, hidden damage, unknown treatments, or structural issues in client-supplied stones or materials.

Additional assessment, repair, reinforcement, or redesign costs may apply.

8. Production Timelines

Production timelines are estimates and may vary depending on design complexity, gemstone sourcing, workshop scheduling, revisions, quality checks, courier delays, supplier timelines, peak seasons, or circumstances beyond our control.

Most bespoke and made-to-order pieces take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to craft after final confirmation, unless otherwise stated.

We will do our best to keep you updated if there are material delays or changes to the expected timeline.

9. Ring Sizing

Clients are responsible for confirming their ring size before production begins.

ABY Jewellery may provide guidance on sizing, but final confirmation of size remains the client’s responsibility.

We offer one-time complimentary ring resizing upon collection where the design allows.

Certain designs, such as eternity bands, gemstone-set bands, engraved bands, intricate bespoke rings, tension settings, or rings with special construction, may have resizing limitations or may not be resizable.

Subsequent resizing, extensive resizing, or resizing outside the complimentary allowance may be chargeable.

10. Lifetime Aftercare

ABY Jewellery offers lifetime aftercare for ABY pieces as part of our commitment to lasting quality.

Lifetime aftercare includes complimentary basic cleaning, polishing, and general inspection of ABY Jewellery pieces.

Lifetime aftercare does not include repairs, stone replacement, stone resetting, restoration, additional resizing, replating, redesign, replacement of lost components, damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, normal wear and tear, improper storage, exposure to chemicals, third-party alterations, or loss of gemstones unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Chargeable services will be assessed and quoted before work begins.

ABY Jewellery reserves the right to decline aftercare work where a piece has been altered, repaired, modified, or damaged by a third party.

11. Jewellery Care and Wear

Fine jewellery is made to be worn, but should be treated with care.

We recommend removing jewellery before exercising, lifting heavy objects, swimming, bathing, sleeping, cleaning, cooking, applying beauty products, using chemicals, or taking part in activities that may expose the piece to impact, pressure, moisture, heat, or abrasion.

Gold, diamonds, gemstones, pearls, and plated finishes may change naturally over time with wear.

ABY Jewellery is not responsible for damage caused by improper use, accidental impact, chemical exposure, normal wear and tear, bending, scratching, loss, or third-party modifications.

12. Returns, Exchanges and Store Credit

Returns, exchanges, and store credit are governed by our Refund Policy.

For eligible non-bespoke items, ABY Jewellery may offer store credit for approved change-of-mind returns, subject to the item being unused, unworn, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging and documentation within the stated return period.

We do not offer cash refunds for change-of-mind returns.

Bespoke, made-to-order, customised, engraved, resized, personalised, or specially sourced pieces are final upon confirmation and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit, except where required by applicable law or where the piece is assessed to have a manufacturing defect.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

13. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you believe your item is faulty or damaged upon receipt, please contact us promptly with your order details and clear photographs.

Once assessed by our team, ABY Jewellery may offer repair, replacement, store credit, or another appropriate remedy depending on the nature of the issue and applicable law.

Natural gemstone inclusions, handmade variations, minor finishing differences, colour variations, and normal wear and tear are not considered manufacturing defects.

14. Prices, Availability and Errors

All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, product descriptions, promotions, availability, shipping fees, and timelines may be updated or changed without prior notice.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or incorrect pricing at any time, including after an order has been submitted.

If an order is affected by an error, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order.

15. Order Acceptance and Billing Information

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or decline any order at our discretion.

This may include orders that appear to be fraudulent, inaccurate, unauthorised, placed by resellers, placed with incorrect billing details, affected by pricing errors, or otherwise in breach of these Terms.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current purchase, billing, delivery, and contact information for all orders.

ABY Jewellery will not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, missed communications, or order issues caused by incorrect or outdated information provided by you.

16. Collection, Delivery and Shipping

Clients will be notified once their piece is ready for collection or delivery.

For deliveries, we will take reasonable care to pack items securely. However, delivery timelines may vary depending on courier services, customs, weather, public holidays, or other external circumstances.

ABY Jewellery is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier providers or incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.

Risk in the item may pass to the customer upon collection or confirmed delivery, subject to applicable law.

17. ABY Rewards Club

ABY Rewards points, privileges, and membership benefits are subject to the ABY Rewards Club Terms and Conditions.

Rewards points are personal, non-transferable, and may only be used by the client they were issued to.

Points cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be used for deposits, design fees, repairs, resizing, shipping, taxes, or excluded items unless otherwise stated.

ABY Jewellery reserves the right to update, suspend, amend, or withdraw any rewards, privileges, points value, earning rate, redemption rate, or membership criteria at any time.

18. Product Photography, Portfolio and Past Creations

ABY Jewellery may photograph completed pieces for internal records, archival purposes, portfolio display, marketing, educational content, website features, or social media.

Client names, personal details, proposal details, private stories, or identifying information will not be disclosed without consent.

If you prefer for your piece not to be featured, please inform us in writing before collection or delivery.

19. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, photographs, sketches, drawings, CAD renderings, text, logos, graphics, videos, product names, brand elements, and creative concepts, belongs to ABY Jewellery or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

All bespoke design concepts, sketches, CAD drawings, renderings, and proposals created by ABY Jewellery remain the intellectual property of ABY Jewellery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, manufacture, or commission ABY Jewellery designs with another jeweller or third party without our written permission.

20. Client Feedback, Reviews and Submissions

If you provide reviews, comments, photographs, testimonials, suggestions, ideas, or other submissions to ABY Jewellery, you agree that we may use them for service improvement, marketing, portfolio, or promotional purposes, unless you expressly tell us otherwise.

We will not disclose personal or sensitive details without appropriate consent.

You agree that any submissions you provide will not infringe the rights of any third party, contain unlawful material, or include false or misleading information.

21. Third-Party Tools, Services and Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, apps, delivery partners, social platforms, or other services not controlled by ABY Jewellery.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, policies, products, or services of third parties.

Your use of third-party tools or services is at your own discretion and subject to their respective terms and policies.

Your submission of personal data through our website, appointments, orders, Rewards Club, or communications with us is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By providing your contact details, you agree that ABY Jewellery may contact you regarding your orders, appointments, payments, rewards, aftercare, service updates, and related matters.

Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable data protection and Do Not Call requirements. Where applicable, you may opt out of marketing communications.

You are responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided to us are accurate and up to date.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ABY Jewellery shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, or other similar losses arising from your use of our website, products, or services.

Our liability for any claim relating to a product or service will be limited to the amount paid by you for that product or service, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore law.

26. Indemnity
